Join the Australian Council of Stoma Associations Incorporated (ACSA), a compassionate and dedicated not-for-profit organisation that represents and supports individuals living with a stoma throughout Australia. By working with ACSA, you'll contribute to the well-being of approximately 46,000 ostomates, helping them maintain a normal quality of life and raising awareness on the importance of stoma healthcare. As part of the ACSA team, you'll engage with 21 regional Stoma Associations to provide essential liaison with the Australian Government, coordination of support services, and advocacy for individuals with a stoma. In addition, you'll play a role in publishing valuable resources, such as the national journal Ostomy Australia and the general ostomy information booklet A Beginning Not an End, providing practical guidance and inspiration to ostomates and their families. Your involvement with ACSA means you'll be actively making a difference in the lives of people with stoma-related conditions, advancing understanding within the broader community, and ultimately contributing to a more inclusive, empathetic world. Stand alongside ACSA and be part of this meaningful journey to promote dignity, ensure support, and empower those living with a stoma.
